Religious Restrictions

Configuration > Demographics > Religious Restrictions

Religious Restrictions here are available in Item Management and Student Management.

1. Search - search by restriction name

2. Include Inactive - check to include inactivated items in search results

3. Reset - click to reset search parameters

4. Add New Religious Restriction - click to add a new restriction
   

   1. Name - enter restriction name

   2. State Code - enter restriction state code for documentation purposes (optional)

   3. Sort Order - change sort order if desired

   4. Does Not Celebrate Birthdays - check to prevent a Birthday Notification from appearing on the POS if this religious restriction is selected on a Student or Staff member

   5. Published - check to indicate that this religious restriction is available to select on the LINQ Connect Online Menu

   6. Cancel - click to return to the previous screen without saving changes

   7. Save - click to save changes

5. Name - click to sort by name

6. Published - click to sort by published status

7. Active - click to sort by active status

8. Pencil - click to edit religious restriction
   

   1. Name - enter restriction name

   2. State Code - enter restriction state code for documentation purposes (optional)

   3. Sort Order - change sort order if desired

   4. Does Not Celebrate Birthdays - check to prevent a Birthday Notification from appearing on the POS if this religious restriction is selected on a Student or Staff member

   5. Published - check to indicate that this dietary restriction is available to select on the LINQ Connect Online Menu

   6. Active - toggle active status

   7. Cancel - click to return to the previous screen without saving changes

   8. Save - click to save changes

9. < > - click to scroll through pages

The following religious restrictions are created by default:

• Bahå'i

• Buddhism

• Christianity

• Hinduism

• Islam (recommend renaming to Halal)

• Judaism (recommend renaming to Kosher)
